Suma Kanakala

• Suma Kanakala broke her silence over growing rumours of separation with Rajeev Kanakala. In one of the recent episodes, Suma admitted that their fights were 'real' and they've had many fights in their 23 years of marriage. Suma further added that seeking divorce as a couple is 'easy' but as parents is 'very difficult'.
• Speculations of Suma and Rajeev's divorce have been doing the rounds for a long time now. The two famed actors are rumoured to be living separately, too. Rajeev in one of his previous interviews, revealed that he had to move into their residence in Manikonda (Hyderabad) along with his father Devdas Kanakala after his mother passed away to look after their house and his father's library. He further dismissed the rumours of separation in the interview. Suma is opening up about the same after a long silence.

Anasuya Bharadwaj

• Anasuya is one of the most sought-after TV personalities, who is also balancing cinema. She was also invited as a guest on the popular chat show Alitho Saradaga. In conversation with host Ali, the seasoned anchor got emotional talking about her mom and how she raised them despite financial struggles. Anasuya revealed that her mom used to stitch clothes to make ends meet and raised her and two other sisters. They couldn't even pay their rents and school fees at times. The noted anchor also added that she used to walk many kilometres just to save 50 paise so that she can afford a metro bus ticket.

Besides, Vanitha also revealed an interesting tidbit about her successful Telugu movie Devi (1999) and how a snake put sindoor on her head and later bit her hand. Besides, Vanitha also spoke about how their happy joint family was ruined by the new members in the house after her father Vijaykumar was 'influenced' by them. Vanitha also opened up about moving to the Supreme Court over property disputes with her father and family and later withdrawing the case. Vanitha also spoke about her failed marriages as well.

Renu Desai

• She revealed that her father didn't come to see her in the hospital when she was born as he was expecting a boy. Adding that her equation with her father wasn't great, Renu shared that he finally said he was proud of her just before his death in 2012. Renu also made surprising revelations about not being given remuneration for her editing job in blockbusters like Kushi, her divorce with Pawan Kalyan, and her engagement with a techie in Pune. Renu revealed that she doesn't like how a few fans dictate terms to her in the name of affection.

KS Chitra

• Award winning playback singer-Super Singer Juniors judge KS Chitra revealed that her father has wished her to be a popular singer more than she even wanted. Chitra added that he couldn't see her receiving her first national award as he was diagnosed with oral cancer back then. Chitra also disclosed that she has been doing charity in the name of her specially abled daughter late Nandana, who died in 2011 after being drowned into a swimming pool at a Dubai villa.

Sudha Chandran

• Sudha got emotional talking about her mother when the doctor declared that the latter could not survive for more than six hours. Sudha also spoke about her accident, Jaipur leg and also the love story with hubby Ravi and their cross-cultural marriage. Interestingly, Sudha disclosed that she used to experiment with her bindis (snake, ****roach bindi etc) for her TV show Kaahin Kissii Roz and they became so popular in India and UK that once she went onto shop bindis in Mumbai and a vendor tried to sell her Ramola Sikand bindi for Rs. 650/-. Sudha shared that she had to finally reveal to him that she was the original Ramol Sikand and refused to pay more than Rs. 50/- for the bindi. The senior actress added that she had to leave without buying the bindi as he requested to not spoil his business by purchasing it for such a low price.

Sunil

• When quizzed if he changed his decision to become a film hero after completing class X in one of the recent episodes of Alitho Saradaga, ace comedian Sunil made a confession. He shared that he started losing his charm with acne on the face during his teens and that's when he realised, he can become a comedian rather. He said, "Everyone looks good during childhood. I slowly started losing all the glamour with all the acne on the face and marks due to popping them. I used to wonder what happened to my face (laughs)."
• For the unversed, Sunil turned a hero at the peak of his career. He bagged a couple of hits but his career as a film hero went downhill. He is now back to his forte, comedy and supporting roles.

Radhika Sarathkumar

• Eminent actress-TV personality Radhika Sarathkumar, who recently appeared on Alitho Saradaga, made a funny yet interesting revelation on the show. Recalling her work experience with Megastar Chiranjeevi for the classic 1981 film Nyama Kavali, which happened to be her first theatrical release in Telugu, Radhika revealed that she took 23 takes for a scene. Radhika added that she had to slap Chiranjeevi in one of the scenes which had to be shot without a cut and she took nearly 23 takes and his cheek turned red by the time the shot was finalised.
• Interestingly, Radhika shared that it indeed turned a sentiment for many in the TV industry as well and most of the makers would arrange for a scene where she should slap someone just because they would believe it will bring them luck.

Alitho Saradaga is set to entertain the viewers with a new episode and a new guest. Sekhar Kammulu, one of the finest directors in Telugu cinema, will grace the show in the upcoming episode.
The latest teaser of the show that surfaced on social media shows Sekhar Kammulu talking about his lean frame, first film Anand standing up against a high tide like Shankar Dada MBBS, his judgment on films, how his family reacts to his films, his latest chartbuster song Saranga Dayriya and much more.

Notably, Sekhar also gets emotional on the show, which is indeed a rarity. The teaser has left fans curious enough about the upcoming episode. Fans on social media are already showering their love on the reputed Telugu filmmaker who has given many memorable films like Anand, Leader, Godavari and cults like Happy Days. Interestingly, actor-TV host Rana Daggubati and Bigg Boss Telugu 4 winner Abhijeet Duddala have made their acting debuts with Sekhar's films Leader and Life Is Beautiful respectively.

From walking several kilometers to save 50 paise so that she can afford a metro bus ticket to her mom stitching clothes to make ends meet and raise her and two other siblings, Anasuya said they have gone through so much in life.

Ali tho Saradaga host Ali shares a throwback picture with late mother Zaithun Bibi; read post



Ace comedian-actor-TV host Ali is a family man in real life. He prefers spending quality time with family and in his latest social media post, he encouraged everyone to make time for family. Sharing a throwback picture with his late mother Zaithun Bibi and brother Khayyum Ali, the Ali tho Saradaga host recollected how the former used to cook biryani every Sunday and had good conversations with the entire family.

"Sunday's are meant to spend time with family. I still remember my mother use to cook biryani every sunday and have a good conversation with the family at the table. Now my wife and my daughter make biryani.Do spend time with your family too (sic)," reads his Instagram post.

Zaithun Bibi passed away at 77 in December 2019 due to prolonged illness. Ali flew down to Hyderabad from Ranchi where he was shooting for a film as soon as he got the news about his mother’s demise. Ali never misses a chance to express his love for his mother.

On the TV front, he is currently seen hosting the chat show Alitho Saradaga which often invites the who's who of the Telugu entertainment business. The show will feature yesteryear actress Roja Ramani and husband Chakrapani in the upcoming episode scheduled for telecast on July 19.

The upcoming episode of the popular chat show Alitho Saradaga is going to have a special guest. National award-winning playback singer KS Chaitra, who is not often seen in Telugu TV, will grace the show which makes it one of the most special episodes of the TV series.

In the latest teaser that surfaced online, Chitra can be seen talking at length about her illustrious career spanning over four decades, her personal life and more. The video shows Chitra revealing that her father has wished her to be a popular singer more than she ever wanted. She added that he couldn't see her receiving her first national award as he was diagnosed with oral cancer back then. Chitra also disclosed that she has been doing charity in the name of her specially-abled daughter late Nandana, who died in 2011 after falling into a swimming pool at a Dubai villa.

Chitra will talk more about her playback singing career, her association with late SP Balasubramanyam and much more.
