• Nikki Tamboli gets eliminated in the first week after aborting two tasks.
• Tamboli was asked as to what was her family's reaction to it, and she said, "When I was sitting and watching my episodes with my family I could see that they are not very happy. The only thing that moment I felt as if I would have tried I may have gone a long way. I had trust in myself that I can overcome my fears and fight with my fears. But that didn't happen. And I am also disappointed in myself. I was not expecting this short journey. I don't know what happened to me suddenly I was going into panic mode and was not able to manipulate my mind."

  The first week of Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 saw the contestants show their calibre by performing some daredevil stunts. While there were a few participants who surprised everybody with their skils, there were a few who couldn't overcome their fear and panicked during their stunt. One such celebrity contestant was Nikki Tamboli. The former Bigg Boss contestant failed to perform the tasks and got the fear 'phanda' (band). She was in the bottom with Rahul Vaidya, Vishal Aditya Singh, and Anushka Sen.
  
• • Vishal, who has water phobia, couldn't perform a water task where he was hooked on to a moving wheel, which goes in the water and he has to unlock himself. Sana Makbul completed this task in 36 seconds, Rahul Vaidya took more than 5 minutes whereas Vishal aborted it.
  • Later, all the contestants in the bottom were given an opportunity to save themselves but Nikki couldn't overcome her fear of creepy crawlies and water and aborted both the tasks. Host Rohit Shetty lost his calm at her not even trying and just being in panic mode. Nikki was pitted against Anushka Sen in identifying which creepy crawlies/animals are put on them. Anushka excelled in this task.
  • On the other hand, Varun Sood made a remark that he will go bald if Nikki Tamboli reached the finale. This was revealed by the show's host, Rohit Shetty. Nikki was hurt by this statement and argued with him. Rohit joked that getting eliminated in the first week itself is a huge disgrace because more than anyone it will be their friends and family, who will tease them.

I have developed a strong friendship with Arjun Bijalni, Sana Makbul, Aastha Gill. They have become my thick friends. They are now my family to me, I am also getting along very well with Vishal. He is an outstanding person. He inspires me a lot and I am just always in awe of him for how he manages to pull off certain things. Lively and chirpy Nikki Tamboli suffered a huge loss a couple of months ago when her younger brother Jatin passed away due to COVID-19 complications just two days before the actress was supposed to fly to Cape Town to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.

The actress with a brave heart went ahead to do the show as it was her brother's wish to see her on the stunt-based reality show. Recently, in an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV, Nikki opened up about the challenging phase of her life and shared that leaving her emotional parents behind after her brother's sudden demise has been most difficult

On lacking in performing her best in KKK11 due to family issues

"I came to Cape Town leaving my emotional parents behind after my brother’s death and it has been the biggest challenge for me. To be honest, I respect the show a lot but because whatever I went through recently I feel main bahut weak pad rahi hoon... people have seen in Bigg Boss and they know I am very headstrong but in this show I have had many weak moments because of the family issues. While I was doing Bigg Boss, everything was fine with my family so I was very focused on the show, but this time things have been very difficult. My brother passed away on May 4th and on May 6th, I came to Cape Town. Obviously it was not possible for me to be all happy and fine within two days and be strong at the same time. It is not easy for me to get over the pain, the loss, so easily. People are motivating and encouraging me to get back to normal but it will take time for me to overcome this loss. During the chat, Nikki also spoke about how she constantly feels the presence of her brother around her, "Yes my brother is with me always.
