This acclaim was the reason that the film proved to be a sleeper hit and the makers planned a sequel. Now 5 years after Mardaani, the talented actress is actually coming with Mardaani 2 and it’s less than a month away from the release.

Last time Shivani Shivaji Roy busted the human trafficking racket and now she is chasing a brutal **** case. Rani Mukerji as Shivani promises equally intense performance and the trailer also promises a hard-hitting drama with realistic but powerful action. If Mardaani had Tahir Raj Bhasin playing an intriguing and powerful villain, this one seems to have got a darker antagonist.

Overall, Mardaani 2’s trailer successfully creates excitement around the upcoming film. Gopi Puthran has replaced Pradeep Sarkar as the director and he seems to have done pretty well. The film is slated to release on Dec 13 and will be eyeing for a decent start at the Box Office.
