Even though he had only a short time inside the BB house, he managed to win hearts within the same. Soon after the reality show, Naveen got the first-of-its-kind role in a TV serial and he is all excited about it. The actor is playing a Gandharvan in the show 'Nandanam'.Talking about his character, Naveen said, "Maybe it is the first time that an actor is playing a Gandharvan on Malayalam TV. I feel really excited to do the same. I am enjoying the makeover and the new style of acting which I have adapted. This character seems to be something that destiny wanted me to play. If I hadn't come out of Bigg Boss within 35 days, maybe I wouldn't have gotten this," he said to ETimes TV.
- However, the character is all the more special to him as superstar Mohanlal enquoted about it to him during the Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 finale.
- "We were all getting ready for the finale and Lalettan walked in. Seeing me, he asked 'Hi Naveen, how is Gandharvan's character going?'. I got so excited that a legend like him as noticed my character," Naveen shared.
- On a similar note, Bigg Boss Malayalam host Mohanlal had earlier mentioned in the show had one of his biggest dreams is to play a Gandharvan on the screen.

Later, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam 4 as a contestant. Currently, along with 'Nandanam', he is also playing a meaty role in 'Ennum Sammatham'.
