Bipasha Basu

One of the early dusky entrants in Bollywood, Bipasha has taken the proverbial long journey to stardom. 2006 was unarguably her best year – she showed the world she could act (Corporate), she could match talented performers (Omkara) and she could give Aishwarya Rai a run for her money (Dhoom 2). With a body that makes us weak in our knees and the delicious John Abraham around her little finger, Bipasha Basu is on our list.

Priyanka Chopra

If you're dusky, there's no way you can give sleaze a pass. So Piggy Chops did some real bold films (read Aitraaz) before settling in for Waqt, Krrish and the likes. But here's the thing with Priyanka Chopra. She's bided her time and though she may not have done as many bold films as Bipasha, she's managed to crawl her way to the very top. Next up is Kaminey and we're waiting to see if she manages to maintain her success ratio.

Monikangana Dutta

Most models will make you wish they'd shut up. Monikangana Dutta however is one exception. The sexy supermodel is what they call the thinking man's sex symbol. Shuttling between India and the West, Monikangana is arguably India's hottest export (unless you consider Aishwarya Rai hot that is). You wish you saw more of her. But sigh… that is how it works.

Not as popular as Monikangana across the world, Nina Manuel's a hot favourite among the boys in the office. She hosts a show on Zee Café and does a kickass job at it. Nina is a regular on the ramps in India and we're cheering for her too.

Mugdha Godse

Wherever was this girl before Fashion? With a body to kill for Mugdha Godse is one hot contender here. Mugdha, we must say, has managed to get it easy with Priyanka and Bipasha having established themselves by the time she started off. But with the likes of Anushka Sharma and Asin Thottumkal among others Mugdha sure has a long way to go.
