Introducing Siddharth Malhotra
Karan Johar dons the cap of the director again. The director goes back into his comfort zone to making movies for the youth. Although there were rumours of SRK not being part of this project but KJo has put all the speculations to rest. Shahrukh is now said to be part of the film probably as a professor.

Son of the funny man David Dhawan, Varun Dhawan makes his debut with 'Student of the Year'. Varun and Siddharth have apparently worked with KJo earlier. They have assisted Karan in SRK's 'My Name is Khan'. The film is co-produced by Red Chillies and Dharma Productions.
