Telly stars we’d like to see in 2010

Last year, we got to watch a couple of new entries on the small screen and hope it’s the same this year as well. Here’s a list of some stars we’d like to watch playing lead roles this year:

Reva Babbar: Reva, the same actress who was spotted in Ekta’s Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Damini has suddenly disappeared. No wonder, she’s often spotted at parties dressed in quite a weird manner.

As far as we remember, she never liked exposing much during her Kyuki days, but things are not the same anymore. For her to expose is no more a tough job. Anyway, the audience quite liked you on Ekta’s show Reva. So, we wish you get back to work this year.

Suvarna Jha: Remember the character Trupti in Ekta’s Kyuki Saas Bhi…and the character Karuna in Kasamh Se on Zee TV? Both these roles were played by Suvarna and we must say, she did her part really well. Why is she not seen on television then? We do not know what the actual reason is, but we just hope you get back soon Suvarna. The audience really wants to see you on screen this year.

Gauri Pradhan: This Virani khaandan’s bahu, who received accolades for her role in Kyunki Saas Bhi… and for Left Right Left on SAB TV and yes, not to forget also for her first show Kutumb is god knows where these days? Last we heard that Gauri and her hubby Hiten Tejwani were busy with parenting. We agree that a woman needs to rest and not work during pregnancy. So, now if you’ve delivered we suggest you get down to work Gauri or your fans will soon refuse to recognize you.

Sharad Malhotra: This actor with the unconventional handsome looks and one of the most popular faces on the small screen in 2008, who’s just been a part of the popular reality show Yeh Hai Jalwa and Dulhann on Zee TV has gone missing. We wonder why? Are there no roles offered to him or is he waiting for the right kind of role to come his way? Whatever be the reason, its time to plan your next move Sharad or you’re fans will soon say tata.

Neha Bamb: Neha, who played Mahi on Zee TV’s Maayka is liked by one and all in the industry for her bindaas attitude and sweet nature. Neha is busy having a gala time for the last one year with her family and friends.

Guess, she worked really hard in Maayka, after which she thought she deserved to take a year long break. Okay, fair enough! But you’ve rested enough now and we suggest you get back on screen. If not for anybody else at least for your fans Neha!
