WIKI had earlier reported that Edit 2 production Jeet Jaayenge Hum will feature Ali Merchant and RJ Sana in lead roles but now it seems Merchant has been replaced by Mohit Malik.
Malik was earlier seen in
Banoo Main Teri Dulhann as Sindoora’s son. His role in
Jeet Jaayenge… is supposed to be as the cliché goes ‘different’.
Our source says, “The shooting with the other actors has started but the male lead is yet to start shooting. Mohit who is almost finalized will star shooting in a few days.”
Merchant was unavailable to comment but our source added, “Ali couldn’t do the show owing to ill-health and so the production house roped in Mohit as a last minute replacement.”
Whereas Malik said, “It’s too early to talk about it because I am still in talking stages with the production people and the channel is yet to give the green signal.”
The show deals with child labour and is slated to launch in December and in all probability might fill the 8.30 pm slot.
