- Tata Tiago EV Launch LIVE: Tata Motors on Wednesday launched its smallest electric car, the new Tiago EV today, September 28. The all-electric hatchback has been introduced at a base price of Rs 8.49 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 11.79 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). Tata Motors says that this price is applicable for the first 10,000 customers who book the Tiago EV. This makes it the most affordable electric car in the Indian market. This new EV will join the brand’s electric vehicle range, including the Tigor EV, Nexon EV Prime, and Nexon EV Max. The new Tiago EV has various new features such as connected car features with smartwatch compatibility, cruise control, leatherette seat covers, and re-gen modes. The hatchback is already sold with petrol as well as a CNG powertrain. Tata Motors also claims that the Tiago EV is capable going from 0-60 km/h in just 5.7 seconds thanks to the 55 kW motor that is mated to the long-range battery pack. The smaller battery pack, on the other hand, comes with an output of 105 Nm of torque and will do the said sprint slightly slower

- The 19.2 kWh battery will provide the car a range of 250 km on a single full charge, while the larger battery is claimed to offer a range of 315 km.
