TOP 5 Malayalam shows of the week 2023 The latest TRP report has some note-worthy changes including a surprise. Malayalam TV show Mounaragam has topped the TRP chart for the first time and here's a quick look at the top 5 club- Here's a surprising twist in the recent TRP rating chart. Naleef Gea and Aishwarya Ramsai starrer 'Mounaragam' has grabbed the top spot in the rating charts for the first time. Family drama 'Santhwanam', which was ruling the TRP charts for the past couple of months has slipped to the second spot.
- 'Mounaragam' recently left the fans shocked when the lead character Sony attempted suicide in the show. The emotional sequence and the heart-touching performances of the actors were much praised too.
- 'Santhwanam' took a diversion from the main storyline by concentrating on the character Sethu's life and how Shivan is helping his relative. However, this did not impress the telly audiences, if the latest TRP report is anything to go by. The show has Chippy Renjith, Rajeev Parameshwar, Gopika Anil, and Sajin playing the lead roles.
- KK Menon and Meera Vasudeven starrer 'Kudumbavilakku' is seen in the third spot. The show is currently showcasing Sidharth's plans to stop Sumithra and Rohit's marriage. In the recent episode, Sumithra declared that she will not remarry Sidharth keeping aside the probability of her marrying Rohit.
- 'Ammayariyathe' and 'Nammal' are spotted in the fourth and fifth positions respectively. The Nikhil Nair and Sreethu Krishna starrer recently staged the arrest of lead character Alina and it is expected to take the story into a different turn. On the other hand, 'Nammal' has managed to secure fifth place in the rating charts. The Arun Ghosh and Muktha starrer has already impressed fans with its engaging storyline.
