Salman Khan to be locked in the Bigg Boss house?

Salman to enter Bigg Boss house as Diwali bonus for the housemates. While Diwali is just around the corner, Bigg Boss Season 4 seems to be getting in the festive mood already. While the housemates eagerly wait for a glimpse of Salman Khan every Friday on the plasma screen, Sallu will be seen entering the house and spending a day with them. For the first time in the history of Bigg Boss, the viewers will see the host himself entering the house and having a gala time with the housemates. What better a treat can the housemates get!

The tale of jhumkas
Abigail Jain (enacting the role of Sumati in ‘Dil Se Diya Vachan’) had to accompany the team of Dil Se Diya Vachan to buy jhumkas for the show. While trying out the chosen pair; it refused to stay on her ears even for a second. The cast, crew as well as the shop attendants laughed their guts out watching the repeated jhumka falling fiasco. Finally the chosen pair was bought and the shoot began. Well the twist in the tale is that the scene required the jhumkas to actually fall off from Vandana Joshi’s ears, who plays Nandini. The jhumkas that just wouldn’t stay on Abigail's ears refused to fall off Vandana’s. The director was in splits and Nandini was at her wits end as she had no idea how to execute the scene. To add on to her woes, when the jhumkas did fall, the cameraman did not have his camera on thinking that its one of those rehearsals. Well after much hullabaloo, the jhumkas finally did fall, much to everybody’s relief and the scene was canned.

Zee TV's charity initiative for Diwali
Zee TV associates with Save The Children India - Iqbal, Binny & Aditti from Sanjog Se Bani Sangini celebrate the ‘Festival of Lights’ with underprivileged kids from the Centre. This year, India’s leading general entertainment channel, Zee TV will celebrate Diwali by bringing a smile to many faces. Come Friday, 29 October, 2010, popular actors Iqbal Khan (Rudra), Binny Sharma (Gauri) and Aditii Gupta (Peehu) from Zee TV’s hit primetime serial Sanjog Se Bani Sangini will visit the Centre and treat the kids to a fun filled and entertaining Diwali celebration that they truly deserve. Iqbal, Binny and Aditti will ensure that the children from the Centre have an experience that they will cherish for a lifetime. Recently as a CSR initiative, Zee Cinema had undertaken a ‘Gift a Toy’ activity in which all Zee Network employees in Mumbai & Delhi were to donate old toys. The toys collected from this donation drive will be given to children from STCI on 29th October.

KBC4 beats Akshay and Salman's shows

While television sees a Clash of Titans with Amitabh Bachchan on Sony's Kaun Banega Crorepati, Salman Khan on COLORS' Bigg Boss 4 and Akshay Kumar on Star Plus' Master Chef India, Rakhi with her show Rakhi Ka Insaaf on Imagine has yet again got her share of credit when it comes to viewership! As per the recent TAM ratings, the second week of Rakhi's show has registered an average TVR of 2.3, with Master Chef India only ahead by a whisker with an average of 2.5 TVR, while Salman Khan with all the controversies inside the Bigg Boss house registered an average of 2.8 TVR. While all these three shows are having a neck-to-neck race, it is only Amitabh Bachchan and Sony's Kaun Banega Crorepati which is rated way high with a 4.0 TVR.

Pavitra Rishta wins big in Tokyo
Tokyo is calling 'Pavitra Rishta' team from India to be part of the 4th International Drama Awards. As we know, the show got nominated this year, where Savita Prabhune and Pooja Pihal were invited to grace the ceremony. The latest news is that Pavitra Team has won the award of Best Foreign Drama in the awards function. Along with Savita Prabhune and Pooja Pihal, CEO of Balaji also graced the function. Savita and Pooja were invited to grace the event and not the leads Archana (Ankita Lokhande) and Manav (Sushant Rajput).
