Contiloe Productions' historical venture for Star Plus titled Maharana Pratap gets its major cast...
Contiloe Telefilms' next historical venture 'Maharana Pratap' for Star Plus is finally in the making, and the production house shot for its pliot yesterday at Karjat. Though the casting is still on, certain actors have been finalized for the show. We hear that the childhood version of Maharana will be played by Khurram Khan. Our source states, "Khurram Khan has been having a hectic workshop at Karjat for past many days. He has been learning the nuances of sword fighting, horse riding etc which a warrior needs to have. Paras Arora Salina Prakash will essay important roles". Just like Contiloe's historical on Zee TV, Jhansi Ki Rani the sets for Maharana Pratap has been erected in Karjat. We contacted Himanshi Choudhary and she confirmed her presence in the show. "I have shot for the show only once, so I really don't have any idea of anything". We tried calling Deepraj Rana and Shahbaaz Khan, but both were unavailable for comment. Watch this space to know more on this show. |

The well admired actor Amar Upadhyay will be seen portraying a pivotal role in Contiloe upcoming show Maha Rana Pratap on Star Plus..
Contiloe production, the creators of the popular historic character Jhansi Ki Rani on Television; are now in quest to bring alive yet another significant character Maharana Pratap, a Hindu ruler of Mewar, but this time on Star Plus. A Little Birdie informs us that, "Amar Upadhyay who enacted the popular role of Mihir will be seen portraying the role of Uday Singh. The story will be based on the life of Maharana Pratap who had 27 wives but he was very close to 3 wives. Also as Amar is well trained in horse riding and sword fighting he will be seen performing stunts on his own." When contacted Amar Upadhyay who was last seen portraying a cameo role in Rajan Shahi's, Bidaai, asserted, "Talks are on for various projects but can't comment anything before signing a contract." We also tried contacting Abhimanyu producer of the show he replied, "I can't comment on anything you need to talk to channel for this." |
