Here is the little girl Phulwa working for a cause..


Today Phulwa (Jannat Zubair Rahmani) along with her friend Chunni and brother Babu brought a smile on the faces of nearly 500 school children studying in Chatrapathi Shivaji Vidhyalay in Dharavi..

A source states, "The students were very excited when they were informed that they were about to meet the bright and ever-smiling Phulwa from the COLORS and Swastik Pictures show...The school is situated in the slum area of Dharavi, and Jannat enjoyed the day with them. They played with bat and ball, talked a lot and even had food together".

A witness to the gala scenes says, "The kids from the school moved their legs on the number 'Sheila Ki Jawani' and also played many indoor games with Jannat. The little protagonist too enjoyed the whole event and was very content to see all the students of her age coming and joining hands with her. They too had yummy snacks together, like Burger and Pepsi".

We talked to Jannat who tells, "It was very nice to be with those kids of Chatrapati Shivaji Vidhyalay. We had a blast in the school, we had food, played few games and also danced (smiles)".

Abrupt rainfalls lead to delay in completion of shoot in Phulwa...

Monsoons have arrived and with it comes the troublesome period of shoots. Few such trouble is being faced by Colors' Phulwa produced by Siddharth Tewary.

A little birdie from the sets informs, "Since a week, we are going through a tough time to complete shoot on schedule. As it can rain at any time, the whole team needs to reshoot the whole scene again. For the last few days we were shooting an outdoor scene of Phulwa but we are not able to complete it due to continuous rain fall."

"Scenes are repeatedly shot due to the loss of continuity, also time is a major factor as most of our scenes have to be shot in day light. Because of these monsoons we are compelled to reshoot all the time, "adds source.

We contacted Angad Hasija, but he remained unavailable for the comments.

Wasna Ahmed was amused and said, "From where did you get to know that we are re-shooting scenes due to rain fall. Yes, we are shooting the same scenes due to rainfall."

All we can say is that the monsoon has just began…

The whole unit of Colors' Phulwa mourn the unfortunate death of a kid that took place in the lake near the set...

An unfortunate incident happened near the sets of Colors' Phulwa produced by Siddharth Tewary, after a child drowned in the lake near the location which led to the halt of the shoot.

noticed this and rushed to the spot to save the kid. But their efforts were in vain as the kid's body was recovered. The shoot of A source says, "A group of kids came to swim in the lake near the set and the tragedy happened when a kid started drowning in the lake. The crew members of PhulwaPhulwa was put on hold for a few minutes as many in the unit went to the lake side to rescue the child."

When contacted Wasna Ahmed, she confirmed the news and said, "Yes, the accident happened in the lake near our set. The incident was very unfortunate; our unit members too wentto help the child. It was really a sad moment for all of us."

While we mourn the loss, all we can say is to keep away from water bodies in this time of monsoons.

Colors' Phulwa will see Shankar trying his hands in cooking...

The audience will see a light moment in Siddharth Tewar's Phulwa on Colors as they are going to view the most unexpected scene in the show.

Shankar's attitude has now softened towards his father and in the coming episodes he will be seen trying his hands on cooking.

A source says, "In the coming episodes, Budhiya (Jagdeep Jafary) will ask Shankar's help in the kitchen and for the first time Shankar will try making rotis with his father. Shankar will try making rotis which eventually turn out to be of different shapes of maps."

We called Angad Hasija and he interestingly replied, "Actually I would say that Angad has helped to make the scene so perfect because I personally have never been to my kitchen to try anything because I am not at all a good cook. All I do in kitchen is to spread the jam on bread and that too will be a disaster sometimes (laughs). It was great shooting the sequence and we had a laughter time on the sets."

Well, seems like the audience will also fun time watching the scene in Colors' Phulwa.
