RK refuse to consummate his wedding with Madhu in Madhubala!

After a long fifteen days wedding ran in Nautanki Telefilms production Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, RK (Vivian Dsena) and Madhu (Drashti Dhami), will move towards the RK mansion, unaware from the facts Sultan (Avinesh Rekhi) is waiting for them in the house.

If you also get excited with Sultan’s entry in RK mansion, than hold your breath guys because there is quite a lot drama coming to play upon on the show. So far, one could see that Madhu-RK have successfully got married fulfilling all the ritual and customs. The much-awaited wedding of the protagonists has indeed raised curiosity amongst the loyal viewers. Also, the intrigue factor has gained prominence in the last few episodes with the past story of Sultan getting revealed.

Now twist in the tale comes when RK gets to know about Sultan being his brother and about his father Mohan Kundra’s flirtatious nature, who had two wives at a time. Not only RK but the entire family will be stunned to know the facts.

According to sources, “Sultan and his mother Meera (Zarina Wahab) will come to stay at the RK mansion. With Sultan and Meera on one side, and RK and Radha (Shama Deshpande) on the other, Madhubala is sure to have some tough time being the ‘bahu’ of the house. Also, with Sultan staying in the same house, RK will always be suspicious over Sultan’s closeness with Madhu. And the biggest highpoint of all, will be when RK who is shocked to know of his father’s misdeeds decides ‘not to consummate’ his wedding with Madhu on their Suhaagraat.”

How about item number on the small screen? Hmm… now this is some scorching news. Yes folks, now it’s turn for all the Sheilas and Munnis to sway their hips in order to tantalize TV viewers. The feat will not happen for the first time with Mink Brar and Shweta Tiwari performing item numbers in Pratigya and Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli respectively. But come the month of June (2012), the trend will catch up like forest fire when newbie Kayamath Khan will rock the dance floor in a classic item number in Saurabh Tewari’s Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors, starring Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami.

Apart from Kayamath, actors Raj Zutshi and Shafugta Ali will also feature in the song. They will dance on the famous Madhuri Dixit track Choli Ke Peechey. The sequence has been shot in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad and has been choreographed by Pinky Chinoy. Pinky is a well know choreographer who has worked in films like Sarfarosh and Mrityunjay. She is also into production of TV shows and has produced Mangalsutra Ek Maryada on Doordarshan.

“I took this project simply because the production house was giving me a huge canvas to shoot with some amazing actors. I enjoyed shooting for the song with choreographer friend Rajeev Khinchi (he has choreographed with Farah Khan for seven years).”

Patience definitely brings out sweet results and we are sure that all Drashti Dhami aka Geet fans will agree to this adage.

Ever since Geet Hui Sabse Parayi went off air, the ardent fans of Maan aka Gurmeet Choudhary and Drashti were keen to see the two back on the screen. Though they did get their desire fulfilled partially as Gurmeet returned with Zee TV’s Punar Vivah but the real wait was still holding on.

Yes, all wanted to know as to how and on which channel will Drashti make a return. And now we guess everyone has the answer to this. Drashti will now be seen donning yet another avatar with Madhubala…Ek Ishq Ek Junoon to be aired on Colors from May. Based on the epic but unrequited love tale of Bollywood legends Dilip Kumar and ethereal beauty Madhubala, the show has Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani fame Vivian Dsena as the male lead.

This news had got a great welcome by all fans and ever since Colors has started airing the promos of it, the craze has just doubled. After watching the promos which showcases Drashti running away from the fame and eye of public, one can’t help but praise the girl for getting into the character so convincingly.

Her looks and gestures are simply mesmerizing and have made us believe that the show is indeed going to be a promising one. Just a wait of few more days and Drashti will be all there to captivate everyone with her spellbinding magic.

The much awaited show starring Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami which is to be aired this May end has got a new name. The show has now been titled as Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. The show will be aired on Colors by the end of this May.

Tellybuzz tried to get in touch with Saurabh Tiwari, the producer of the show but he remained unavailable for the moment.

The show which is being produced by Nautanki Films is expected to take the slot of Veer Shivaji i.e 8:30 on Colors. The shooting for this show has already commenced.

Viewers are waiting eagerly to watch the show and the promos of the show will hit the screen soon.

Change in storyline, show will mostly be on-air only after the IPL...

Tellybuzz had earlier reported about Saurabh Tewary's Nautanki Films preparing for their next launch on Colors. Today we get you some more details about the developments.

A little birdie informs, "The show which was earlier reported as a cross-border love story is no longer the same. The show will have a storyline with the film industry as the background where the leads would essay actors. The production house has not started with the shoot and the show would most probably go on air post IPL."

This was all about the details regarding the show and its storyline but now we come up with some more interesting information about the cast. The cast of the show is almost finalized and here are the names which would essay meaty roles in the show.

As reported earlier Vivian Dsena, Drashti Dhami, Rakhi Vijan, Bhupinder Singh and Raj Zutshi, who were approached are now locked in to be a part of the show.

To add on, Sushmita Mukherjee, last seen in Zee TV's Chhoti Si Zindagi, would do a cameo in the show. Lalit Parimoo and Shagufta Ali would also be seen in vital roles.

Tellybuzz has reported about Saurabh Tewari's Shikhar, produced by his company Nautanki Films, which will focus on a cross-border romance.

Several big names have been approached to be a part of the show. We now hear that Pallavi Subhash Chandran who was last seen as Rohini in Star Plus' Sapno Se Bhare Naina has been approached to play one of the important characters in the show. She has been approached, but nothing has been finalized yet.

We have already reported that Vivian Dsena, Drashti Dhami, Manish Naggdev, Bhupinder Singh, Rakhi Vijan etc. will be a part of the show.

After acting in Bollywood for the past 15 years, he will now be seen on the small screen...

The most the recent name that is added to the list is Manish Naggdev, last seen in Imagine's Dharampatni. Manish will be essaying an important role in the show.

We had earlier reported about Rakhi Vijan, Bhupinder Singh, Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami who were approached to play the main lead.

We called Manish Naggdev who told Tellybuzz, " I have given my look test but haven't got any confirmation yet".

Indian television is undergoing a makeover of sorts with new shows replacing old ones. And next in line is Veer Shivaji on Colors which is all set to be replaced by Madhubala. But will that really happen?

Colors is all set to launch its new show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, apparently based on the love story between yesteryear actors Madhubala and Dilip Kumar. But according to sources, the channel is facing some roadblocks in airing this one.


To begin with, Madhubala’s sister Zahida has objected to the channel using her sis’ story without prior permission. She says that she tried to contact the channel authorities to get her point through, but couldn’t. So now she has sent a legal notice to Colors.


But that’s not the only problem that has cropped up. The serial was supposed replace Veer Shivaji, and that too quite abruptly. But this fact didn’t go down well with VS fans who are now threatening to damage the sets if the show ends. Tch tch!
