Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein is a new show coming up on Star Plus from the maker of Star Plus' Sasural Genda Phool, Ravi Ojha. The show was earlier titled as Sajda.

The show is actually a love story with a difference centering around the female protagonist. Deblina Chatterjee of National Award winning movie Ami Aadu is debuting on Indian Television and will be seen essaying the role of the female protagonist in the show. Shaleen Bhanot who was last seen on Imagine's Do Hanson Ka Jodaa and Sarwar Ahuja (fame Jyoti) have been approached to play the male leads in the show.

Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein - Cast and Character - Star Plus

Star Plus is coming up with a new show titled as Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein produced by Ravi Ojha Productions. The lead cast of the show has been finalized by the production and looking for the remaining cast.

Deblina Chatterjee of National Award winning movie Ami Aadu is debuting on Indian Television and will be seen essaying the role of the female protagonist in the show. A new face Chavi Pandey was intially considered to play the same character but Deblina replaced her from the show.

Shaleen Bhanot who was last seen on Imagine's Do Hanson Ka Jodaa and Sarwar Ahuja (fame Jyoti) have been approached to play the male leads in the show.

Rehaan Roy, the Bengal superstar, is playing the parallel lead in the show.

Navni Parihar who was last seen in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na will make a comeback to television with this show. She will play the mother to Shaleen Bhanot. The actress will be back to television after a hiatus

The promos of Star Plus' upcoming show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein by Ravi Ojha have already hit the television screens. The show which will present a different love story of a college going girl and will begin to be aired during the Valentine week. As the show prepares for its launch, the casting process continues. The latest we hear is that Ayub Khan will join the show.

A source says, "Ayub Khan, presently seen as the Thakur of Colors' Uttaran, will play the role of the Team Leader of the undercover agent in the show. Shaleen Bhanot will play the role of the undercover agent."


We contacted Ayub Khan and he responded saying, "Talks are on with the production house, but nothing has been confirmed as of now."

The show will start its telecast from 14th of February at 10 PM,wherein currently Navya is on air. Source: IF

Karan Hukku will be seen in a pivotal role in Ravi Ojha's upcoming show on Star Plus

It was breaking news on TellyBuzz when it was reported that Ravi Ojha was coming up with his new show on Star Plus. We had also reported that the show titled, Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, will have Shaleen Bhanot and Rehan Roy playing the main leads.

With the promo of the show already running in the channel, today we bring to you another important addition to it.

A source says, "Karan Hukku who was last seen in Sony TV's Tera Mujhse Hai Pehle Ka Naata Koi is all set to return to television with Ravi Ojha's Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein on Star Plus."

"Karan will play the character of a military officer who is a complete patriot. The character is of great significance to the show as he will bring in a twist when the story develops", adds the source.

TellyBuzz tried contacting Karan, but he remained unavailable for comment.

The show which was earlier titled as Sajda, has now got its final title - Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein and the latest we hear is that Navni Parihar has been roped in to play an important role in the show.

A source says, "Navni Parihar who was last seen in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na will make a comeback to television with this show.She will play the mother to Shaleen Bhanot. The actress will be back to television after a hiatus."

We contacted Navni Parihar and she responded saying, "I cannot comment anything right now as nothing has been finalized."

We hear that the production wanted a popular face to play the role of the mother because of which they have finalized Navni.
