Mohit Malik and Aditi Shirwaker are now all set to take their saat pheres after having enjoyed a blissful courtship period. Mohit and Aditi, who had got engaged on July 14 in a private family affair at Delhi, are now looking forward to their next phase in life.

We hear that Mohit and Aditi will be getting married on December 1, 2010 in Mumbai, which will be followed by a reception at Mohit's hometown in Delhi.

When contacted, Mohit Malik confirmed the news and said, "Yes December 1, seems to be the date, but our elders have not finalized on it yet. We are on a look out for a good venue in Mumbai."

The bride to be Aditi Shirwaker is all gung-ho about her wedding preparations. "Our wedding will be a cultural mix of the Maharashtrian and Punjabi style. Ironically Mohit wants to follow the Maharashtrian ritual while I have always wanted to be in love with a Punjabi munda and follow their rituals. We will see to it, that we mix both the Maharashtrian and Punjabi rituals during our wedding. As per the Maharashtrian ritual, the bride usually wears a yellow saaree before the wedding rituals and changes into a green saree during the mangalsutra ceremony. In the Punjabi ritual the girl usually wears a red lehenga, I will now make sure that my outfit has the combination of all three colors, yellow, green and red."

It makes for a double celebration for the couple as Mohit's elder brother Rohit's wedding is scheduled to happen in the same week after Mohit's marriage. Aditi quips, "It was a combined decision from me and Mohit to have our wedding in Mumbai as we want to get blessings from all our relatives and friends. After we are done with our wedding in Mumbai we will soon rush to Delhi, as Mohit's brother Rohit is getting married in Delhi the same week. There will be a joint reception at Delhi for both the newly married couples."

We wish Mohit and Aditi a joyous time, as they get ready to be called husband and wife.
