Lenovo finally launched its first Google-Tango based phablet - Phab 2 Pro, in India. The augmented-reality capable smartphone is priced at Rs 29,990. It has multiple cameras at the back that work in tandem to bring augmented reality effects to the smartphone. The phone has three sensors - motion tracking, depth perception and area learning. Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a 6.4-inch Quad HD display.

Samsungís Galaxy C9 Pro is its first smartphone in India to have 6GB of RAM. Priced at Rs 39,999, the C9 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out-of-the-box. It comes with a 6-inch display and has 16MP rear and front cameras. For connectivity, the Galaxy C9 Pro offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, with a 4,000mAh battery rounding off the spec sheet.

Honorís sub brand Huawei launched its dual camera smartphone in India at a starting price of Rs 12,999. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full-HD display with 2.5D curved glass. It's powered by Huawei's own octa-core Kirin 655 SoC paired 3GB/4GB of RAM. It comes in two storage variants - 32GB and 64GB. The device has a dual-camera setup at the back, comprised of 12MP and 2MP modules, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash. There's also an 8MP selfie-shooter. The 4G VoLTE supporting smartphone is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.

Lenovo launched its P2 smartphone in India this month. Having a mammoth 5,100mAh battery, the Lenovo P2 carries a starting price of Rs 16,999. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The handset is powered by a 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 3GB/4GB RAM. Thereís also 64GB internal storage with support for microSD cards.

Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India this month, at a starting price of Rs 9,999. The smartphone has a metallic unibody with round edges and comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz. The smartphone comes in three variants -- 2GB RAM/ 32GB internal storage, 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with the company's native MI UI 8 skin. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is backed by a 4,100mAh battery and also comes with an IR blaster.

Samsung also launched its budget Ėfriendly Galaxy J2 Ace in India this month. Bearing a price tag of Rs 8,490, the smartphone has a 5-inch qHD display. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box and is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Spreadtrum processor, clubbed with 1.5GB of RAM. Thereís 8GB of internal storage with support for microSD cards of up to 32GB in size. For imaging duties, the Galaxy J2 Ace has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. Itís backed by a 2,600mAh battery.
